In the end, it's up to the player to determine where their Sovereign would be most effective in the party. With impressive defenses and the ability to equip heavy armor, a Sovereign can easily survive the dangers of the front line, but their low damage output makes the back line a viable option as well. They can equip a wide variety of weapons, but are not especially skilled with any of them, resulting in rather lackluster attacks however, their durability is commendable thanks to a combination of a high vitality and the ability to equip some of the best armor types in the game. From raising an entire row's defense to granting Ice-element attacks to an ally, they are equipped with boons for any situation, as well as the limited ability to restore their own TP and keep the boons coming. Sovereigns are high-durability units that use potent buffs to boost the performance of their allies.
